Construction Update: June 11, 2015

No, it didn’t snow in Oakland! The white stuff on the roof of Phoenix Commons is the waterproof membrane (Pic. 1). Once the roof is entirely wrapped in this membrane, crews will be protected from any surprise summertime rain showers (Pic. 2). From the roof, one can see how close the community is located to Nob Hill, whose public docks would allow Phoenix Commons members to get their groceries by rowboat! (Pic. 3)
